As precious as a flower
She was guarded and protected so closely
As precious as a flower
Her petals fell slowly
Day, by day,
Minutes ticked –
As she realised the world was blackened
With the thick, gross dampness of the clouds
The rain pours down and tramples on her graces
She was precious like the flower;
Which is precisely why she withered away.
Which is precisely why her petals refuse to stay
On the earth thickened with the cries from heaven –
This earth is her hell; and she must return
To what is her home;
She cannot exist, without being ruined,
Either way.
